Our historic log cabin retreat has an absolutely beautiful setting, situated on a 60-acre farm in the Bluestone Valley, surrounded by beautiful mountains and bordered by the Bluestone River. This historic property has a beautiful sun porch, kitchen, dining room, living room, 1 queen bedroom, sitting room, bathroom w shower/tub on first floor. Loft has 1 queen size bed. Also has high speed internet, DISH satellite and 3 wide screen TVs. Outdoor firepit for enjoying an evening under the stars! Beautiful setting on a large farm in the country. Safe, secure area. Minutes from New River Gorge National Park, 5 West Virginia State Parks, Winterplace Ski Resort, Pipestem State Resort, The world-famous Greenbrier Resort, Lost World Caves and Caverns, Zipline over the Bluestone Gorge, whitewater rafting, 3 rivers: Bluestone, Greenbrier and New River, historic districts, Hatfields & McCoys ATV trails, and much more! Hinton, West Virginia home
We offer a guest suite with private bath, 1 bedroom, library, sitting area and use of kitchen. This home is one of the most historic homes located within the heart of Hinton's National Historic District. The railroad village of Hinton, West Virginia overlooks the beautiful New River. AmTrak (Cardinal) services Hinton 3 times per week with trains traveling from Washington, DC to Chicago on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Hinton is 8 miles from I-64 access and 25 miles from I-77 access. The home features woodwork imported from the Black Forest of Germany and is furnished with period pieces and beautiful decor. All towels/linens provided. Use of kitchen is permitted. Beautiful, picturesque area. Shops/restaurant/post office/library within walking distance of home.
